Bernie,

I'd love to compare some keyword research with my tool compared to Wordtracker. I like my tool but I'm not going to promote it to my subscriber list until I have some solid results.

If you are interested please get back to me. Just click on my support tab on my blog to get back to me...just click on Promo Code Software where my name is supposed to be.

I think we're saying the same thing. People resist using long tail keywords because they don't understand it, they are not intuitive (because they are not as broad and popular) and, to your point, they don't know which ones to use.

We always do keyword research to select keywords (long tail or otherwise). We use several tools but mostly Wordtracker. None of the research tools (to my knowledge include Google search volumes though).

Not sure if I agree that people and bloggers are actually "resisting" the use of long tail keywords. I think that maybe they simply don't understand which keywords to actually target.

For example, you are targeting the long tail "Florida Internet Marketing Company"...

How did you determine that you wanted to target this keyword? Are you researching how many searches for this keyword is being done each month?

It's nice to rank high for certain keywords but if they aren't being searched, are you actually getting your message out there?

Are you using keyword research tools? If so which ones?
